before i had a telephone port on the wall to connect the phone (duhh) and we decided to make it our office so we called cox over to come make that telephone port to a internet port so we can put the computer down there. well now we want it back to a telephone port because we got att internet and there modem uses telephone so thats the reason why we want to change it so if anyone could help me it would be great! maybe a website where it tells you how to do it or maybe it simple who knows???

at the end with the jack change the RJ-45 to a RJ-11 and connect the blue/white to the green and the solid blue to the red..
at the other end of the wire, you need to connect to dial tone, either at the NID, or bridge to another jack - the blue/white pair would need to be connected to the green/red of the dial tone pair...
