Port 80 or 443 (SSL) already in use! error help?

Every time I try to install XAMMP it says this, I don%26#039;t know how to change ports and I don%26#039;t have IIS runnig|||Go to Start, Run, type %26#039;cmd%26#039; and press Enter

type in %26quot;telnet 127.0.0.1 80%26quot; and press Enter

If the screen goes blank, that means that there is a service running on your machine that%26#039;s already using port 80.

Do the same Telnet command for port 443, and see if it%26#039;s using it.

If the screen doesn%26#039;t go blank for either one of these, then you may have to change the ports on your router. Routers commonly use ports 80 and 443 to be able to access them.
